This collection brings together the traditional shapes and burnt colours of the carpets and textiles of the desert peoples of the Americas and the east. There is a traditional intricate fairisle design, "desert weave", a bold pineapple cone design, and ikat, kelim and durry inspired designs. There are brocade-like designs featuring the familiar pomegranate tree motif and Egytian floral, a small foral "desert bloom" and the fireburst design which featured on the front cover of the 2007 Calendar on the left. There is one double jacquard template.
