This handknitting design collection is inspired by traditional American pieced designs, and mirrors the three-dimensional qualities of traditional quilted patchwork. There are optical illusion designs, stylized angular baskets and flower patterns and designs where foreground and background seem to interchange bringing different shapes to the fore.

There are only two colours in the row throughout and colour changes ae all at the same side of the work.
