You can find full information on each collection by clicking on the titles on the left, or if you would rather scroll through summaries of all the designs for a particular craft, click on the craft headings on the left, or on the top navigation bar. My name is Linda Jackson, I am a textile designer and publish my designs for stitch-based fabrics for machine knitting, handknitting, cross stitch, needlepoint and rugmaking, under the name of Artika Designs. I have been shipping chart design booklets to enthusiasts all over the world since 1990 and write about colour, design and design software for specialist publications.


In early 2008 I re-created this site from scratch and moved to an up-to-date web host! As many of you will have noticed, the old pages, created in 1995 and added to since then, were showing their age. However the increasingly popular "knitters list" of knitters seeking commissions and designers seeking knitters is still on the site and has been recently updated.
The Links page is still being added to and updated, so it's a "work in progress"

As before, I have tried to keep the design simple, straightforward and easy to use. Let me know if you find anything amiss!

There is a small but growing collection of my knotwork designs for knitters and needleworkers on the Lulu.com website. The designs are available separately in downloadable pdf files and suitable for both US and UK paper size. Do go and have a look.

You can also obtain the files from me, but you might find the lulu payment options are more convenient especially if you are in the U.S.
